37. What Does it Take to Endure and Finish the Race?
We're On the Podium with Gene Davis -- 1976 Olympic Bronze Medalist and 3x All American (4th, 1st, 3rd) in 1965-67 out of Oklahoma State. Gene and his wife Frances joined Athletes in Action in 1968, and have have since taken the Gospel around the world. They are still in the ministry today, focusing on discipleship and relationships. We talk at length about what it took to endure over the course of his life--in faith, marriage and ministry.
